Here at DeBerry Insurance Agency, we are committed to supporting our local business community. This week we had the privilege of touring Columbia, Tennessee’s brand-new kitchenarium, Lime & Loaf!
Lime & Loaf is a collaboration of Columbia’s own Paul and Chrissy Jensen, owners of The Dotted Lime, and Kathryn and Adam York, owners of Smith & York Co. The kitchenarium is a blend of the signature style and originality that we have all come to know and love from these renowned local business owners. Lime & Loaf offers practical, high quality items for cooking and baking as well as cooking classes and a grab-and-go café.
If you haven’t been to this beautiful new business, you simply must go! You can grab a quick lunch and get anything your home or professional kitchen could possibly need.
“One of the things that got this all started was the shift during the pandemic of people cooking at home more,” said Paul Jensen. “Families that had gotten into the habit of eating out, started to cook at home again. We saw there was a need in this area for items specifically sourced to be unique, high quality, heirloom kitchen products. We have been having a blast getting to know more and more people as we are meeting Kathryn’s clientele at Smith & York. It is fun to see the crossover.”
“It really is like a merger, blending of two families!” said Kathryn York.
Customers of both parent businesses are already fans of the new Lime & Loaf. Kitchen classes are being offered that are inspiring home cooks and families to spend more time together in the kitchen.
“That’s one of the things that means the most to us,” said Kathryn. “Seeing families enjoy time together here in our kitchen and also at home while they are using our products. That’s really what it’s all about!”
